Architecture |

As a platform technology,
MORANGE offers a secure,
reliable and scalable
framework to integrate and
mobilize existing IT
facilities, such as
Microsoft Exchange Server,
Lotus Notes and desktop
applications.

Components:
MORANGE is made up of five
components:

MORANGE Server: A server
software system to
respond and process
requests from mobile
client, desktop client
and web portal. It
extracts, reformats,
compresses, optimizes
and encrypts data and
pushes to mobile
clients.

MORANGE Mobile Client: A
Java or Windows Mobile
software running on
mobile devices.

MORANGE Desktop Client:
A desktop software
running on Windows
XP/2003/2000.

MORANGE Enterprise
Server (only for
enterprises): A software
running inside intranet
to be the bridge between
enterprise email server
and MORANGE Server. It
records all user
information locally to
ensure high
confidentiality and
provides administrators
an user interface to
manage user accounts.

MORANGE Web Portal : A
web portal for users to
configure settings, for
administrators to
conduct queries,
generate reports and
manage user accounts.

business cases. Load-balance
has been implemented for
large customer base. AES-128
and SSL have been adopted
for data encryption to
protect MORANGE users'
privacy.
