Starhub Pfingo uses Morange software as its core services

31 March 2007 - MOZAT Pte Ltd revealed today that their mobile communication software, Morange, is behind one major part of the recently announced ¡°Pfingo¡± offering from Singapore mobile operator Starhub Ltd. Mozat, a Singapore-based start-up, has been developing Morange for more than 2 years while building a substantial worldwide user-base through direct downloads by consumers as well as partnership with mobile operators.
¡°Mobile users today need to communicate using both email and instant messaging. They want to be informed about the latest news and happenings. There is also a need for mobile calendars and contact lists to stay in synch with desktop applications like Microsoft Outlook. Morange, exclusively customized for Starhub as ¡°PfingoACTIVE¡±, addresses these needs and more with a suite of smart applications provided as an integrated software package, making life easy for users¡±, says Michael Yin (32), CEO and co-founder of Mozat.

Morange has an exciting set of features that helps people to communicate and access favorite information while mobile. The innovative software is compact and operates on most MIDP 2.0 Java capable phones. Most mobile phones today support Java applications. The company has previous investments from NUS Venture Support and SEEDS Capital Pte Ltd.
